We typically pair these rod with a 130 size class reel and a size 6 unibutt again being either Winthrop or Alps.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Winthrop T10x adjustable butt is a great option to fine tune the angle of the rod either placed in a chair or rod holder. The Alps bent butts provide a slightly lighter setup with a more streamlined design.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur 130lb class rods are built with with all roller guides from the roller stripper, roller running guides, and a roller tip. This allows for minimal line friction while fighting these giants at high drag.
